Light Emergency Kit

Design Concept

In Taiwan, earthquake strikes frequently. Thus, it is necessary to prepare emergency kit at home. However, not every family prepares them, even if they do, they might put them in an unapparent place, making it hard to find during the blackout.

Light Emergency Kit can guide people in the dark, let everyone know where it is and get it easily. Not only containing necessaties, but also small and easy to carry, Light Emergency Kit can be put in a handier place. It is also equipped with a wireless charger (which is also a mobile power bank) to provide temporary power, which can be used to communicate and call for help.
Design Features

1. Zippers on both sides allow people to grab things more easily.
2. LED light on left shoulder straps provides emergency lighting.
3. Hidden pocket to protect cash, personal identification and documents.
4. Enough space for one person's necessities.
5. Whistle hidden in right shoulder strap.
Light Band and Charger

There is a light band made of optical fabric and reflectable fabric on the backpack, with a LED light on the end, connecting to the wireless charger. During blackout, the LED light will turn on automatically, and the light will be conducted by the light band, making it easier to be found.

The wireless charger is placed at the bottom of the backpack. It is like a mobile power bank. When the power is cut off, it continues to charge the light band. Therefore, when people move with Light Emergency Kit, the light band continues to glow. The charger can also charge mobile devices.
Usage Scenario

1. In normal times, it charges in the corner or at a handy place.
2. When the power is cut off, the light band glows automatically to let people know where it is.
3. Take the kit without pulling the plug. The wireless charger will keep charging the light band.
